ARCHITECTURAL MASTERPIECE

We were lucky enough to have my mom and dad come and visit just recently, and no they didn't arrive on Air Force One. They made that awesome drive from Utah. It was so wonderful ---beyond wonderful to see them and of course so sad to see them go. We were able to go to the Reagan Presidential Library/Museum while they were here.It is a really cool museum with lots of interesting information and artifacts, but most amazingly it has Air Force One (the actual plane that Reagan used) inside the museum in this beautifully built building with an entire wall of windows that overlooks the beautiful Simi valley. It is breathtaking (the plane and the valley). You get to tour the plane and see how everything worked, who sat where and the like. You can walk underneath it and around it, and.....well it is kind of difficult to describe how cool this museum really is unless you can see it yourself.

For those of you who are on your political game, may remember one of the Republican Party presidential debates was held in said library with the candidates seated on the overlook to Air Force One.

Lincoln likes the presidential motorcade that is on display under the right wing, and noted during the inauguration this week that "hey mom that is like the car that Reagan has at his museum". (by the way.....the new Cadillac limo that Obama has - can you say AAAAwwwwwhhhhhsome!)

More on our presidential library tour tomorrow.

Ooooohhh!! I love the Reagan Library. Hopefully we'll make it back soon. I'm glad you guys got to do something fun while mom and dad were there. I'm sure you all needed it. :)

I've got a better word to describe Obama's motorcade.

EX-PEHN-SIEVE.
